St. Mark’s opens our doors to all who seek to worship the triune God. Everyone is welcome.
We are blessed to have a strong foundation given to us by Dr. Martin Luther who started the Protestant Reformation in Germany that turned the focus of worship upside down. Dr. Luther brought worship and the Bible into the hands of the people. St. Mark’s carries this tradition with us today, please come and join us.
Luther believed that we should start and end our day in prayer. These prayers may sound old, but we can’t alter perfection.
Luther’s Morning Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You. For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen
Luther’s Evening Prayer
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have graciously kept me this day; and I pray that You would forgive me all my sins where I have done wrong, and graciously keep me this night. Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen
May God Bless you
