A BIG THANK YOU !!! to everyone who helped with the Johnson County Food Ministry project at Center of Grace on June 24. The cakes and brownies were excellent, the meal was hearty and delicious, and plenty of hands made the work enjoyable but not over-burdensome. It was estimated that we served almost 200 total meals (including 2nds and "to-go" boxes) to about 100-125 people.
July 24 - Meal at the Ronald McDonald Longfellow House, 2502 Cherry Street, KCMO. We will need 10-15 people to help with this event. More details to follow but anticipated committment time (including travel) is approximately 3:30-7:00. We will also be collecting items from the RMD House wishlists prior to the event.
