There's always something to do with Women of the ELCA at St. Mark's. 

• BookMarks---BookMarks, St. Mark's Book group, meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at Cedar Lake Village, plese check the Markings for the name of the book chosen for discussion . Contact the church office if you’d like more information or email Joyce Johnson at: joyce@oceansofmercy.com.
• Quilting---Meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at Quilters Haven, 116 N Clairborne, Olathe, at 9:30 am.
• Knitting/Crocheting and the Prayer Shawl Ministry---Every Wednesday Night you will find the knitters and crocheters clicking away at their needles at the home of Lois Elliott.  Prayer shawls provide warmth and comfort to those who are in need (be it emotional, physical or spiritual).  If you don't know how to knit, come anyway!  Teachers are always on hand and willing to help you!

• Food Teams---are organized to assist in serving the church and it's members when there is a need. All adult women are assigned to a food team to provide & serve food when a need arises.

WOW! What a great turn out! There was a line!!! A total of 50 women gathered for brunch on Saturday, February 7, to share a meal and ideas about our participation in the coming year. Lots of things are available so, hopefully, many will take part. Lots of things are available so, hopefully, many will take part. There's quilting, book club, knitting, food preparation, serving, altar care, Bible study, Stephen Ministry, prayer chain, library, and much, much more. Thanks to everyone for their input and to those who will take these ideas and run with them. New ideas are always welcome. Watch the bulletin and MARKINGS for upcoming events. These are all great opportunities to serve and grow in faith and fellowship.
